BAND INSTRUMENTS

Band instruments can be purchased or rented from many locations in the south bay including:

Hollister Music on 4th Street by the railroad tracks. 831-634-1725

The Music Tree (click the name for their website) on Monterey Highway in Morgan Hill

The Musicians Warehouse (click the name for their website) in San Jose by Eastridge Mall

Music Village (click the name for their website) at Union and Foxworthy or Santa Teresa and Snell in San Jose.

You can also find used instruments on the web at places like Ebay. Make sure you are buying a quality instrument. The best are made in the USA (Selmer, Jupiter, Conn) or Japan (Yamaha). There are some Chinese "knock-off" instruments out there, some with German sounding names, that just don't hold up.

In addition, the band has a few instruments which are available for loan during the school year. If you will be borrowing an instrument, there is a $40 cleaning/repair fee required. You will also need to sign a loan agreement which you can open and print by clicking here.
