JANUARY MARCHING PRACTICE

The January combined Marching Band practice will be this Saturday January 10 from 9:00 AM to Noon at Rancho. Please be there for this important session with the new march for spring competition. The session is optional for 6th grade band members who want to learn how to march or improve their skills. Bring water and a snack and please remember to wear proper shoes, no flip-flops! We also need parent help with logistics. THANKS!

SHARE YOUR HOLIDAY PHOTOS

The band welcomed Mr. O back after a few days off and performed live on KSBW TV for their annual Share Your Holiday toy & food drive. The weather was great and KSBW's Jim Vanderzwaan was very impressed with the band's sound.

SAN JOSE HOLIDAY PARADE PHOTOS

The band had a good beginning to the competition experience for this school year. They placed 3rd in the middle school division of the Wells Fargo Battle of the Bands as part of the San Jose Holiday Parade. For about 1/3 of the band, this was their very first competition experience. The crowd on the street was estimated at 120,000 and many thousands more watched on TV. A big thank you to everyone who took pictures. We had so many to choose form that we had to pick the best ones for the web. All of them are saved for the band archives though!
